Acceptable programming languages include Java (v6)/J2EE and C#/.Net Framework 4 or higher,— support personalisation, user-generated content, and other features requiring dynamic, real time delivery of page content reflecting user preferences or behaviour,— demonstrate a wide user and developer base, including large, complex, and content-rich websites operated by leading brands and/or major organisations in the library, archives, cultural, or heritage sectors, serving multiple audiences and a range of user goals, and attracting millions of users a year,— offer 24/7 support with readily available access to expert advice 8 am – 6 pm UK time,— supply a 2-5 year technology roadmap and release lifecycle,— operate a scalable content delivery architecture that can publish to multiple servers,— provide API access at content level to external data or content items,— include customisable workflow,— allow the administrators to define and configure security and permissions,— enable delivery of multilingual content,— address a requirement for persistent identifiers,— facilitate multi-platform delivery (eg to mobile devices).Project Budget.
