Green light for bicester gateway retail park
Plans for shops, restaurants and a gym on a site in south west Bicester have been given the go-ahead.Cherwell District Council’s planning committee has approved outline permission for the Bicester Gateway retail park, which is expected to create jobs and boost the local economy.The application gives consent for a large block consisting of three retail units and a smaller retail and restaurant unit with a gym above it, totalling almost 97,000 sq ft of floor space.The application also includes provision for a car park with 345 spaces and a scheme to mitigate the impact on the local transport infrastructure.
