Stakeholder - Eque2

Building Tomorrow

Eque2, leading software provider to the construction, contracting and house building industry, recently contributed to ‘Building Tomorrow’, an ITN Productions programme in association with The Chartered Institute of Building.

A must watch for those working in construction, the programme looks into key issues facing construction, such as the role of technology, and combines key interviews and reports with profiles of some of the leading organisations in the sector.

As the Government outlined their vision for how the construction industry will maintain growth in their ‘Construction 2025’ strategy, ‘Building Tomorrow’ explores the significant investments made by leading organisations in the sector in the areas of training and recruitment, technology advances and sustainability. The programme captures the latest innovations and best practice in building and construction management.

Eque2’s section of the programme explains how an increasing number of construction firms are realising the importance of not only being able to streamline their processes, but also of having visibility across all stages of a project. Using modern construction software, issues can be spotted immediately and any unexpected costs dealt with, being factored into the budget there and then to ensure economic growth for the future.

Recognising that one size doesn’t fit all, Eque2 works in partnership with other software providers to deliver the most suitable solutions, and collaborates with clients to continually improve methodologies and develop solutions to meet the changing industry requirements.

Wes Simmons, Managing Director of Eque2, says, “We continually work with our customers to understand what they need from our software to ensure their business’ future growth. It’s essential that construction firms have the right tools to deliver projects on time and on budget, so we provide solutions that modernise construction and contracting processes and that help our customers to increase their margins and improve efficiency.”

Having reviewed Construction for Sage 50 we were very impressed with the integration into Sage 50 Accounts and Sage Payroll which was something with which we had previously had problems.
