INTERSERVE: PROTON
We’re excited to announce that we have been appointed to work on the prestigious Proton Beam Therapy facility in Manchester for the Christie NHS Foundation. We will be working with Interserve Engineering Services & will be providing full 3D BIM coordination for all MEP services throughout the building.
Once completed this state of the art technology will be the first of it’s kind for the UK and aims to provide a more effective form of treatment than conventional radiotherapy as it directs the radiotherapy more precisely & with minimal damage to surrounding tissue. Similarly, It’s introduction to the UK will bring the treatment closer to patients who currently have to travel abroad to receive it.
We’re proud to be working on such a unique project and as construction work is due to start on site in 2016 we’re excited to be part of the process.
