John Sisk and Son; Construction of Arena Bridge over the River Avon – Bristol

The Temple Quarter Enterprise Zone is a development covering 70 hectares around Temple Meads station. The challenge is to open up old railway sidings for mixed use, including an ambitious 12,000 capacity arena. The access works delivered by Sisk are key to this, and the bridge built on site by Italian bridge contractors, Cimolai, and launched over the River Avon is the first step to creating a new and vibrant area of the city centre.
