4. Description: The awarding authority have a requirement for station platform shelters at the stations on the specified location, to be manufactured in accordance with a Transport for London bespoke design.
This will comprise of design (including prototype), manufacture, storage and delivery/installation. The “C100 Architectural Components: Surface Station Shelters – List of Requirements” Document on the website below, provides further details of the shelters.

It is a multi-supplier framework will be awarded to two suppliers, with an initial order 25 to each supplier and the remaining 50 allocated to one or split between both depending on capacity and performance.
Expressions of interest are requested from organisations who would like to tender for the work. Delivery of the initial order is expected to commence in July/August 2017 and be complete in Autumn 2017. Further details of the requirement and timescales will be provided with the tender documents

In July 2014 awarding authority was awarded the concession to operate the new Crossrail services across London by Transport for London (TfL). The awarding authority is running train services and stations with an eight year contract that can be extended to ten years. On the 31 May 2015 awarding authority commenced TfL Rail services over the 14 stations between Shenfield and Liverpool Street under the TfL Rail brand. Eventually over 700 timetabled services per weekday will operate as the Elizabeth line. These services will be formed of nine-car trains and will run at frequencies up to 24 trains per hour in each direction throughout the central tunnel section.
