Bridge rebuild caputred by The Time Lapse Movie Company
A project that is currently close to completion is the three camera, 12-month project for Worcester County Council to capture the rebuilding of a viaduct/bridge in Evesham.
The project saw the replacement and widening of the bridge to extend it to three lanes and include vital pedestrian/cycle access routes. Work was carried out by contractor Hochtief and began in spring 2013 and has been built using a design which has a 12-year life span.
One of the three cameras installed by The Time Lapse Movie Company was mounted on a tall lamp post in order to get the field of the view needed, and access to the footage data was via USB which run down through the lamp pole with the electrical supply being brought from the lamp supply internally.
This required liaison with the street lamp engineers but this complex process was 100% successful.
The other two cameras were then placed around the site, due to low power on the site these were part powered using solar energy.
