Commercial vehicle finance
A national furniture retailer approached us for a finance facility to fund 20 new delivery vehicles. They were looking to renew their fleet and fund the vehicles over 36 months on a Hire Purchase agreement.
The challenge we faced was that the company had posted a multi-million pound loss in their last financial year due to a major restructuring of the business. This meant that many of the finance companies on our lending panel would not consider a proposal in view of these losses.
We prepared a comprehensive proposal outlining the history of the business and the other strengths that we felt could merit our recommendation.
Within five days we received acceptances from four finance companies that covered the full £1.2M facility required by the company. Documentation and asset inspections were completed within a few days and the supplier was paid on time.
