Macrihanish Housing Estate, Acrypol Nu-Life
At Macrihanish Housing Estate, on the west coast of Scotland, Acrypol’s Nu-Life product has ensured the vibrantly coloured roofing tiles have remained true for nearly a decade.
The 1960s built estate was taken over by a private consortium, who decided the original tiles were detracting from the properties, being faded and grey, although they were still watertight and had plenty of life left in them.
Acrypol’s Nu-Life was applied eight years ago and the distinctive red and brown tiles have retained their natural warmth and lustre.
The results were stunning, with the houses returned to their natural beauty through a combination of green, red and terracotta shades to blend with the surrounding landscape.
