Metal-Kote treats building for Johnson & Johnson Medical
A Johnson & Johnson facility has been successfully treated by Metal-Kote, saving the plastic-coasted metal roof from rust.
The roof of the Inverness plant, which manufactures diabetes testing equipment, had started to rust badly and delaminate. A possibly huge bill for replacement was avoided with Acrypol suggesting the use of Metal-Kote.
Since application, the roofʼs life expectancy has dramatically increased at a fraction of the cost of a complete replacement. The easy to apply solution also ensured there was no intrusion into the buildingʼs sterile environment, allowing business to continue as usual – critical for any pharmaceutical company.
Aa massive 5,000sq m of brown Metal-Kote was applied in a single coat by Acrypolʼs own Contract Service Specialist team. Prior to this the entire roof was washed down and remedial work carried out on the rusted ends.
Even in the demanding climate of northern Scotland, this controlled application promises Johnson & Johnson a ten year material and labour guarantee.
