Naylor Scotland in Opening Ceremony
The Fife factory of pipe manufacturer Naylor Drainage has had reason to celebrate this month, with the business commemorating the commissioning of its new Twin Wall Drain line in an unveiling ceremony attended by Fife MSP David Torrance.
The new line- which cost in excess of £1m- allows the company to make 150mm, 225mm and 300mm pipe, which will increase product availability in Scotland and reduce the company’s internal transportation of a product which Naylor previously only made in Yorkshire.
Naylor have manufactured plastic pipes – for ducting and surface water drainage – in Scotland since acquiring the business of Argival Plastics in 2004. Jim Crawford, Managing Director of Naylor Scotland commented “this is a tremendously exciting development which will further increase our self-sufficiency north of the border”.
