North Foreshore Regeneration Project Update
There have been significant changes to the North Foreshore Regeneration Project since our last report; over 2,400m of kerbs have been installed, 33 wooden street lighting columns have been erected and approximately 14,500 m² of tar has been laid using our brand new tar spreader.
All materials used in previous operations have been removed and reused within the road structure; sub-soil and topsoil are being laid and stockpiled for future use on the road banks and planting areas.
We have recently started preparing the banks of the roads with flattened areas where trees are to be planted, which will hopefully attract wildlife to the area; earth-moving operations are almost complete, with more focus being placed on the installation of services such as electricity, water, communications and gas.
