UKIS 2018 provides participants with a unique opportunity to engage, connect and collaborate with a vast array of key projects, decision makers and influencers representing all areas throughout the supply chain.
The latest National Infrastructure Pipeline features over 720 projects and programmes across transport, housing and digital to fire up the nation’s infrastructure, and UKIS is delighted to be working with some of these major project partners in HS2, Transport for London, Tideway, Horizon Nuclear, Consortium Procurement, West Midlands Combined Authority, Procurement For All and Midlands Connect.
The Keynote Arena at the UK Infrastructure Show 2018 will showcase presentations from some of the largest infrastructure projects currently under way or in the pipeline across the UK.
In the keynote arena you can hear from the Event Partners who will discuss current supply chain opportunities available, as well as outlining future plans for their individual projects. You will also hear from organisations charged with setting the strategy of infrastructure plans for the UK over the coming years.

Keith Waller, IPA
The opening address will be given by Mayor of the West Midlands, Andy Street. This will be followed by a crucial knowledge session from Keith Waller, Commercial Advisor at the Infrastructure and Projects Authority. Here he will discuss the government’s Transforming Infrastructure Performance report and its objective of increasing the effectiveness of investment in infrastructure by improving productivity, including the immediate priorities for the IPA over the next two years. The report is a long-term change programme with a ten year horizon that builds on existing best practice and tackles the systemic issues that still limit the performance of UK infrastructure.
Following Mr Waller is a representative from arguably the biggest infrastructure project in Europe, and certainly the UK: HS2. HS2 Ltd will discuss the supply chain priorities and plans for the development of Britain’s new railway.
Pre-lunch, there will be an informative session from Tideway Asset Management Director, Roger Bailey, who will give a project overview of London’s ‘super-sewer’ and the Supply Chain Opportunities available.
Finally, keynote addresses will also be given by: Greg Bradley, Head of Business Advisory at Arcadis and Director at Northern Powerhouse Partnership, Henri Murison.
