Work starts to build new retirement living homes in Kinver

Building work has commenced at The Burgesses in Kinver, paving the way for the construction of 20 new homes for older people.

The Awarding Authority is seeking to appoint an organisation to provide due diligence services for the specified location Inward Investment Fund (NTIIF). Due diligence services may also be required for other grant or loan awards provided by the North of Tyne Combined Authority under this contract and terms.

REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT FUND

Thousands of smaller businesses in specified location are set to benefit from £20 million of new government funding to help them recover from the effects of the coronavirus pandemic when applications open next month. Small and medium sized businesses will have access to grants of between £1,000 – £5,000, to help them access new technology as well as professional, legal, financial or other advice to help them get back on track.

PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT GRANTS

The Awarding Authority offers personal development grants to foster the independence, confidence and assertiveness of young people under the age of 25 who have special needs, including physical disability, caring obligations, other disadvantage or learning and psychosocial needs that can have an impact on their development. Funding is also given to organisations, especially for projects that promote education, health and social welfare; team building activities; recreation with an educational element; therapeutic activities not core funded by the statutory authorities; new development and start up project costs.
