Timelapse – Demolition of the old station building at Abbey Wood
Timelapse done between 15 – 17 May 2015. The Network Rail and Balfour Beatty Crossrail, South East Team successfully and safely demolished the old station building at Abbey Wood on Saturday 16th May, clearing the way for ongoing major works in the area. The next stage of the project will see new track being built through the space created, as well as piling and ground works to support the new station building, opening in 2017.
