The current contract for Stock-control services in Salford is projected to end on 5/2/2018 and may be available for re-tender.The current contract for Stock-control services in Salford included a framework agreement for use by or on behalf of current and future NHS SBS clients, including without limitation (I) any national health service (NHS) Trust, (II) other persons and bodies exercising NHS functions or otherwise providing NHS Services (including, but not limited to primary care trusts, strategic health authorities and foundation trusts) (being other NHS entities), (III) other UK public sector bodies providing non-health services, (IV) private sector entities in the UK and Isle of Man public services sector. (See section VI.3), Additional Information)NHS SBS is looking for providers over 4 lots, with Lot 1 being an overarching Lot that could potentially cover lots 2-4 as well.Lot 1 – Neutral Wholesale – NHS SBS requires a partner that can provide logistics, consultancy services for Supply Chain, Patient Pathways and Process Efficiencies, and Inventory Management Hardware and Software.Lot 2 – Consultancy Services – NHS SBS is seeking providers for Supply Chain, Patient Pathway and Process Efficiencies consultancy as a stand-alone service.Lot 3 – Inventory Management Software – NHS SBS is seeking suppliers of inventory management software which will integrate with our customers’ ordering systems and work planning systems to provide accurate stock management and traceability.Lot 4 – Inventory Management Hardware – NHS SBS is seeking suppliers of inventory management hardware which will integrate with software and ordering systems and work planning systems to allow accurate stock management and traceability.
