Housing development for former Walsall school site gets approval
The site of a former primary school in Walsall will be developed with almost 50 homes after plans were approved.The former Clothier Street Primary School, in Harry Perks Street, will make way for 48 homes.The plans submitted by Walsall Housing Group and Galliford Try Partnerships were given the green light by the borough council on Friday.The school site was made vacant in 2007, with the building demolished not long after. The plans will see 30 two bedroom homes, 13 three bedroom homes and five one bedroom flats built on site, with 72 car parking spaces provided.
