Plans for new Nafferton Recreation Club announced
Nafferton Parish Council have announced their plans to demolish the current worn-down sports clubhouse and create a facility which will enhance community spirit.Planning applications have been put forward for the demolition of the existing sports clubhouse on Nafferton Recreation grounds and to build a under 5’s nursery, sports club facilities and community hub.The parish council, now the sole trustees of the club since the previous trustees withdrew in March 2014, is working with the Nafferton Feoffee Charity Trust who are supporting the building costs.They have now submitted full planning application for a new sports and community facility at the Nafferton Recreation grounds.As well as the club the plans include a home for the Nafferton’s under 5’s pre-school nursery which will include a vital outdoor play area which the current site is lacking.
