Electronic systems and ICT infrastructure companies are sought for new airport terminal.
Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport plans to build a new terminal – Terminal 3 – by 2020. The project value is worth £1.6 billion.
The first phase design competition completed in October 2015 and the successful bid has come from a UK-Taiwan consortium.
The Million Annual Passengers Processor (2042) of Terminal 3 area is estimated to reach 45 MAP. Buildings to be constructed under the project will comprise Terminal 3 processor and concourses, Multi Function Buildings (MFB), while the infrastructure will comprise Service Roads System, Apron and related Taxiway System, Automatic People Mover (APM), Terminal Access Roads, and related facilities.
For the next 2~3 years, opportunities will arise in need for passenger/cargo handling system (design/software/hardware/system integration), smart infrastructure (wireless environment/broadcasting/driverless transportation within the airport area) and security system.
