Development plan for Hutton farm land site
Long-awaited plans for a housing estate on farm land have been launched.Maple Grove Developments, part of the Eric Wright Group, want to build up to 46 homes on land to the rear of 110 – 120 Liverpool Road, Hutton, opposite Hutton Grammar School.The 5.87 acre site has been designated for development for a number of years, but villagers are unhappy at the latest news and have submitted objections.Adrian Emberton’s property in Fensway backs onto the site. He has written to planning bosses at South Ribble Council (SRBC) over traffic concerns and says the fields regularly flood.
