The United Nations (UN) seeks Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the provision of Crossover Utility Vehicles (CUV)
Companies that can provide CUVs, spare parts, and ancillary services in support of UN operations worldwide for a period of three (3) years, with two one (1) year extensions at the UN’s option are welcome to participate.
A CUV is defined as a vehicle that looks like a Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) but drives like a car. The vehicle is usually built on a car body (unibody), with upright seating position, high outward visibility, spacious interior, flexible cargo capacity, smooth drive, and excellent fuel economy, station wagon or hatchback type.
The large majority of vehicles required by the UN are left hand drive configuration, fitted with a diesel engine that is compliant with European emission standards up to Euro 4 (or equivalent) that can operate with diesel that has high sulphur content.
