Plans for driving range on land known as The Topsham Gap
A planning application has gone in to build a driving range on the space known as the Topsham gap.The proposal by Exeter’s Golf and Country Club is for a new driving range, club house and storage facilities to replace the existing driving range at Newcourt.The site lies to the north of Exeter Road, Topsham on land at ‘Five Acres’, a residential property with additional land in agricultural use to the west and north.Immediately to the west is the Broom Park Nurseries and Collingwood B&B. Further west is the University of Exeter Topsham Sports Ground. To the east lie agricultural land and the Topsham Rugby and St James Cricket Clubs.To the south of Exeter Road opposite the site lies residential development.
