A major utility co. invites EOI for ‘Development of whole current smart/ AMI metering solutions’ for scattered and clustered deployment.
A leading and well established private sector utility company based in East of India is inviting EOI for ‘Development of whole current smart/ AMI metering solutions’ for scattered and clustered deployment. It has 3.0 million customers spread in total area of 567 sq km and having a distribution network of around 19,000 circuit kilometres.
The Company is keen to develop separately, whole current Smart/AMI Metering System for both scattered/clustered deployment needs as a part of network modernisation process. Technical specifications of the meters are provided along with this notice.
The Company is looking for reputed meter manufacturers who have similar products and supplied to major Distribution Utilities in India & other developed countries abroad. The manufacturers with an installed base of at least 1 million Smart Meters/Static Meters in Distribution Utilities in India and other developed countries worldwide shall be eligible to submit their applications. The manufacturer shall have adequate infrastructure to supply such meters and related software and services.
