Go ahead for £4.3m housing development in Gourock
A new £4.3m housing development in Gourock has been given the go ahead.A total of 41 properties will be built on the site of the former Kempock House residential home off Kirn Drive after Inverclyde Planning Board gave its approval. Developers Inverdunning Ltd were given the green light by councillors at a meeting this afternoon.The blueprint includes a mix of detached and semi-detached two-storey properties, with 89 off-street parking spaces.Kempock House was demolished seven years ago as services in the care vsector were revamped, and the site has lain barren ever since.
