Cullompton could get its own piece of Eden Westwood pie says developer
The proposed Eden Westwood scheme could have a presence in Cullompton or other neighbouring towns the man behind the multi-million pound scheme has said.Cullompton Town Council last night agreed to support an allocation of land for development at Junction 27 of the M5 following a presentation by the scheme’s backers.Malcolm Dudley-Williams who is one of the developers behind the scheme was asked by councillors if to help people in Cullompton feel more engaged by the ambitious schemes for a leisure and tourist attraction part of the scheme could be located in the town itself.Mr Dudley-Williams said he had not been asked before about the idea of taking part of the Eden Westwood offering off the proposed roadside location, but opened the door to the possibility saying “I don’t see why we couldn’t talk about that.”
