Planning permission success for new care home in Sutton Coldfield
Plans to build a state-of-the-art care home on the BMW showroom site in Sutton Coldfield has been approved by the council – with work expected to start early this summer.Octopus Healthcare and DWA Architects have successfully gained planning permission from Birmingham City Council on Friday, March 4 for a 67 bedroomed care home on Lichfield Road, which will include a hairdressers and café.The BMW showroom, which is due to relocate in April 2016 is on a tight site with a significant number of protected trees to the rear and a forecourt to the front.In a design statement by the architects it outlined that the design reflected the site location.
