Transport Services (excl. Waste Transport) in Northampton – Framework Lead

The current contract for Transport Services (excl. Waste Transport) in Northampton is projected to end on 09/10/2016 and may be available for re-tender.The current contract for Transport Services (excl. Waste Transport) in Northampton included the supply of Ad-Hoc Passenger Transport Services through a multiple provider Framework Agreement. The successful Providers will be responsible for providing these Services under ‘call off’ arrangements and liaising closely with the Contract Manager identified by the Authority.The Services required by the Authority are the provision of Ad-Hoc Passenger Transport for a variety of users of all ages including and not exhaustive for those with special needs, disabilities and social/health requirements. Requests for these Services will be generated from various departments within Northamptonshire County Council including Children and Adult Services. Future requirements may also include the Ad-Hoc Transport requirements of other public authorities and organisations.The Framework Agreement will be split into nine seven (7) journey start areas ( or lots) within Northamptonshire, as per the respective Borough and District Councils, and a further area incorporating out of county requirements. There will also be a lot for Emergency Planning Transport.Potential Providers are invited to bid for one or more lots as detailed.
