Developer sought for £25m Crewe regeneration
A procurement process has been launched to find a developer for the £25m regeneration of the Royal Arcade site in Crewe town centre.Cheshire East Council, which purchased the shopping centre in May 2015, is working with Cushman & Wakefield to secure a developer to add leisure and retail outlets including a cinema, restaurants and a new bus interchange.The Royal Arcade is situated at the heart of Crewe town centre on an island site totaling approximately 4.6 acres. It is currently anchored by a BHS store and is also home to Wetherspoons, Boots Opticians, Santander, Millets, Shoe Zone and Crewe Bus Station.
