Housing plan submitted for former pub site in Leven
The former Silver Tassie site in Leven could look very different by 2017, after a Fife developer submitted plans for affordable housing. The former pub site, which was gutted by fire in 2011, has been one of contention for local residents concerned that nothing would be done with the land. Now developer Campion Homes, working with Kingdom Housing Association, has submitted an application for full planning permission after buying the site from EQ Melville Properties earlier this year with planning permission in principle already granted. The plans detail six two-bedroom affordable flats, with car parking space for 10 vehicles and associated landscaping.
