5. Description: SPECIFIC IKC and Sêr Solar (awarding authrotiy) require an environmental chamber for testing the lifetime of hybrid/organic solar cells and materials under controlled temperature and humidity conditions.
In order to carry out a number of consensus stability testing protocols, required to certify the long-term stability of our devices, we need an environmental chamber capable to provide accurate static testing conditions, in terms of temperature and humidity levels, and to perform thermal cycles as well.
A reliable, precise, environmental chamber capable of simulating a full range of temperature and humidity conditions is required to be used for long term stability tests (at least 1,000 hours of testing), including thermal cycles at constant humidity. A homogenous and stable temperature and humidity distribution over the entire chamber is required as well as data-logging of the actual values during the test.
