Bloor Homes submits revised plans to build 75 homes in Uppingham
Bloor Homes has submitted revised plans to build 75 new homes in Uppingham.The developer carried out a public consultation on its proposals to build on land south of Leicester Road last year, and a number of changes have been made in response to feedback from the local community.A new planning application has been submitted to Rutland County Council, replacing the previous application made in May last year.The proposed development will provide a range of house-types including detached, semi-detached and terraced properties as well as two bungalows, offering a choice from two-bedroom starter homes to larger five-bedroom executive houses.A third of the homes – 23 – will be provided as affordable housing for rent or shared ownership.The land is earmarked for housing in the Uppingham Neighbourhood Plan.
