Planning permission granted for largest PV site in Northern Ireland
Permission has been granted to U.K. solar park developer Hadstone Energy for a 46 MW site, which will be the largest in Northern Ireland.It’s not all bad news for solar in the U.K., as planning permission is granted for the large-scale PV project in Country Antrim. It is being developed by Hadstone Energy who is hoping to have the project completed in less than a year.With a planned 46 MW due to be installed at the site, it will be the largest solar farm in Northern Ireland. Interestingly, it is the largest piece of land that has been granted planning permission for any purpose in the history of Northern Ireland.
