Plans in for second phase of Newport development
Plans have been lodged for the second phase of Scarborough Group International’s £30m Station Quarter development in Newport.The first phase was completed in 2014 and comprised 80,644 sq ft of office accommodation, let to Admiral Insurance, along with 28,000 sq ft of retail and leisure space, and a new public plaza.The proposals for the second phase of the redevelopment of the Cambrian Centre site, bordered by Queensway and Cambrian Road, include a further 45,000 sq ft of office development.The building will be named ‘Interface’ and will sit across five levels with leisure and ground floor retail units facing the new plaza.
