Clay wins Steel City House contract
Huddersfield-based Clay Construction has been appointed as main contractor for the redevelopment of Steel City House in Sheffield.Owned by Scott’s Developments, the work on the grade II-listed Steel City House is being supported by the JESSICA Fund for the Sheffield City Region.Following extensive enabling works over the last few months, Steel City House is now on its way to becoming a grade A specification office and workspace with completion expected in 2017.Commercial Property Partners, Knight Frank and Bowcliffe are marketing the property and were said to have had “an excellence response from a number of prospective professional occupants”.
