4. Description: The awarding authority is looking for a Catering Software Solution that would be able to encompass the following:-
A software system that is fully supported, ideally ‘off the shelf’, to record and monitor school catering labour and material data;
Web based software that produces accurate ‘real time’ information to allow proactive management of the service (productivity, target setting, menu development etc.);
Recipe and menu development and management
Nutritional analysis to deliver healthy eating options within Welsh Government legislation
Allergen profiling
Stock control for ingredients and other consumables;
Software that is flexible, to allow for other functions to be ‘bolted on’, e.g. on-line payments, and to be regularly updated to address changes in working practices, legislation etc;
Compatibility with Civica on-line payments, P2P and Nationwide ‘cashless’ dining systems;
Reports that allow meaningful benchmarking and feed into APSE data sets;
Income and expenditure monitoring and analysis
