Work starts on 60-home affordable housing scheme
Construction work has started on a £5.8m development of more than 60 affordable homes in Yeovil.Social housing provider Stonewater is working with Halsall Construction and South Somerset District Council to build the new properties on the former site of Seaton’s Garage in West Hendford.The development will provide a mix of housing for both affordable rent and shared ownership.Stonewater is financing the development with £748,000 in funding support from the council’s housing development programme alongside investment from the Homes and Communities Agency.
