4. Description: This is a requirement for the Awarding Authority. The terms “Awarding Authority” and “Group” are deemed to be interchangeable in the documents relating to this procurement and for the avoidance of doubt each means the Specified Location Transport Holding Company and all of its subsidiary companies including Citybus Limited, Flexibus Limited, NIR Travel Limited, Northern Ireland Railways Company Limited, Travel NI Limited, Translink NI Limited, and Ulsterbus Limited. Awarding Authority requires a competent contractor to supply train axels to support – • 8 De-Dietrich Coaches •4 MkIII Generator Vans Anticipated Usage It is anticipated that 12 axels will be required per 12-month period. Tenderers MUST confirm both lead time, and minimum order quantities. Prices and Delivery All prices MUST be in GBP (Great British Pounds) and goods are to be Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) to Specified Location. Contract Period The initial term of this contract will be for FIVE (5) years, with an option to extend for any period up to and including 24 months.
