Interserve wins £60m shopping centre deal
Interserve, the Reading-headquartered support services and construction group, is set to provide integrated facilities services at 18 shopping centres as part of a £60m deal.The listed group has been awarded the three-year contract with commercial and residential property services company JLL.As part of the deal, more than 300 staff will TUPE transfer to Interserve to provide cleaning, security, customer services, pest control, window cleaning and electronic security system maintenance.The account also includes the provision of standalone cleaning services for a number of JLL’s offices across central London, worth approximately £9.5m per annum. Services will be delivered using Interserve’s LEAN model, which focuses on “improving service delivery and maximising cost savings by implementing new innovations across the business”.
