QHotels invests in Northumberland venue
QHotels has invested more than £1m in a luxury 141-bed Northumberland venue.The company has ploughed the money into Slaley Hall in a bid to re-establish the landmark as the “finest resort hotel in the North East”.The funds have been invested in room refurbishment, air conditioning and heating, and improving access to the Edwardian mansion.Slaley Hall comprises 141 bedrooms, a variety of event rooms to host up to 350 guests, a health club and spa, two 18-hole golf courses and is also a wedding venue.The hotel also includes three restaurants and an outdoor activities centre.In addition to the investment in hotel facilities, QHotels has also appointed Christopher Wayne-Wills as general manager.
