Basildon housing plans for empty hall
An unused hall which has stood empty for two years is set to make way for housing in Basildon.Basildon Council has worked on a proposal for a development of 20 homes to replace a redundant building in Roundacre, Basildon, as part of its News Homes programme.The hall, which was vacated by the Space for Youth Centre in 2013, was previously owned by Essex County Council, and transferred to Basildon Council in June 2015.Demolition will be undertaken in September by Redbridge Demolition Company.
