4. Description: The Awarding Authority wishes to procure the services for a methylation analysis of DNA from prostate cancer resection and biopsy samples.
The analysis will be microarray based using illuminaEPICarray technology and the service will include sample quality control (QC), bisulphite conversion, post conversion QC and a workflow specialised for low quality Formalin fixed paraffin embedded (FFPE) samples.
Applicants are required to note that they will be responsible for returning the remaining samples to Awarding Authority once the project is completed.
It is anticipated that this analysis will take approximately 6 weeks from the initial implementation meeting between the successful Applicant and the University. The analysis of the methylation will be completed within 8 weeks of the samples being submitted to the successful Applicant.
