Plans revealed for Newcastle trampoline park
A North East leisure company has submitted plans to transform a vacant property on a Newcastle industrial estate into a job-creating trampoline park.Funshack launched its Jump 360 venture in Stockton in 2015 having previously opened a large-scale children’s play centre at Portrack Interchange Park.As part of its expansion plans, the business has now submitted an application to transform three adjoining units at Benfield Industrial Estate in Newcastle into a combination of its two flagship schemes on Teesside – representing an investment of £2.5m.The 69,000 sq ft development would comprise a Jump 360 trampoline park and Indoor Adventure Playgound.The former would take up 58 per cent of the floor space, while the play centre would cover 37 per cent. Funshack has proposed the remaining 5 per cent be occupied by dodgems.
