Office Block In Belfast City Centre To Be Refurbished
Planning permission has been approved to refurbish and extend an office block in Belfast city centre.Belfast City Council’s Planning committee gave the go-ahead to refurbish Oyster House and Roystone House on the corner of Wellington Place and Upper Queen Street.The proposal will add an extra 2,115 square metres of office floor space.A number of new housing developments have also been given the green light.These included sites at Glenmachan Park in west Belfast where a derlict listed building is to be upgraded, the third phase of a social housing redevelopment in Brookmount Street in the Shankill area, and development of the former H and J Martin site at Ormonde Gardens in the east of the city.Planning permission was also granted for new apartment complexes, in Malone Avenue, Templemore Avenue and on the Ravenhill Road.
