Galliford Try to build £25m Airbus testing hall
Airbus UK has chosen Galliford Try to build the new £25m Airbus Wing Integration Centre at the company’s Filton base near Bristol.The project will create an advanced development and testing centre for large structural parts involved in the manufacture of aircraft. The facility includes an adaptable physical test environment that will form a proving ground for future technologies, new materials and manufacturing techniques, as well as new testing processes.Around 250 engineers will be based in the new facility, alongside Airbus’s corporate-level research and technology network.
