Approval for Wayne Hemingway-designed houses
A housing scheme in Blackburn designed by Wayne Hemingway has secured planning approval, paving the way for the construction of more than 160 properties.Preston-based Kingswood Homes has linked up with Hemingway Design, led by Wayne and Gerardine Hemingway, and architects’ practice ID Partnership to devise the project.The 25-acre site between Gib Lane and Livesey Branch Road will feature 167 detached and semi-detached properties. New cycle ways and footpaths will also be built alongside a community hub.The first phase of development at Green Hills is due to start early in 2017.
