£500k refurbishment planned for Newcastle property
A dilapidated office building in Newcastle city centre is being brought back to life as part of a £500,000 refurbishment project.26 Mosley Street, which was once the National Provincial Bank of England, has recently been acquired by HMC Ventures.The company has appointed Newcastle-based Silverstone Building Consultancy to project manage a major refurbishment of the three upper floors and create a loft conversion which will provide more than 9,000 sq ft of open plan, grade A office space.The historic building was constructed in 1870 and sits in a prominent position on the corner of Mosley Street and Dean Street. The ground floor was once occupied by Ant and Dec’s The Lounge.Ultimate Leisure has been appointed as the main contractor and Bradley Hall has been appointed to market the refurbished office space, which will be ready for occupation in March 2017.
