Snow-clearing services in Bonnyrigg – Framework Lead

The current contract for Snow-clearing services in Bonnyrigg is projected to end on 27/12/2017 and may be available for re-tender.The current contract for Snow-clearing services in Bonnyrigg included a number of suppliers for its framework agreement to supplement the existing labour resources of its Roads Operations team. These additional resources are expected to provide a variety of labour and plant to assist in the delivery of the Winter Maintenance Services as weather conditions dictate and will mainly cover Precautionary Salt Treatment, Treatment of Ice, Snow and Hard Packed Snow and Ice. The contract will be split into 5 lots and suppliers may bid for one or more lots:Lot 1 – Labour (including Transport and Equipment)Lot 2 – Bulk Gritters (inclusive of Driver)Lot 3 – Operated PlantLot 4 – HGV DriversLot 5 – Plant and Vehicles – hired.
