A national Framework Agreement for the supply of UVC Cleaning solutions which are intended to be used as part of infection control as a supplement to standard cleaning and disinfection protocols in an attempt to reduce healthcare associated infections.
The UVC cleaning solutions will allow hospital staff to disinfect a number of environments within a healthcare setting including but not limited to patient rooms, hospital wards, operating rooms, emergency rooms, bathrooms and public areas and will disinfect a range of medical surfaces including but not limited to wheelchairs, bedside tables, walls and electronic equipment. The UVC solutions will eradicate all types of micro-organisms including Clostridium difficile (C.diff), and multi-drug resistant organisms such as MRSA, VRE, CRE, Acinetobacter and other healthcare associated infections.
