The current contract for Lift-maintenance services in Worcester is projected to end on 10/1/2018 and may be available for re-tender.The current contract for Lift-maintenance services in Worcester included Delivery of Building Maintenance Services to Warwickshire & West Mercia Police.Planned and unplanned maintenance services related to the maintenance of lifts elevators & access equipment including eye-bolts, safety edge protection, Portable Appliance & Fixed Wiring Testing & Inspection, Maintenance of Generators and Uninterruptable Power Supply, Asbestos Management consultancy in line with asset management plans and other capital work subsequently introduced. All cyclical , planned service, testing and maintenance works including day to day reactive works.Warwickshire Police and West Mercia Police are in the process of considering participation in a Joint Property Vehicle (JPV) that will support the requirements of a number of public sector partners in the region. If approved this might result in the creation of a new publicly owned company tasked with overseeing the management of public sector estates for the partners. This pioneering approach would be the first of its kind anywhere in the UK and would help protect front-line services and facilitate the development of innovative new service delivery approaches for the partners involved.
