Signs and related items in Southampton – Framework Lead
The current contract for Signs and related items in Southampton is projected to end on 1/2/2018 and may be available for re-tender.The current contract for Signs and related items in Southampton included the provision of Wayfinding Equipment for Transport South Hampshire, Legible Cities Framework. The Framework Agreement shall be for the supply and installation of Wayfinding Equipment and Replacement Parts as defined in the Specification within the timescales specified in an Order. The Framework Agreement enables the following Contracting Authorities – Hampshire County Council (HCC), Isle of Wight Council (IWC), Portsmouth City Council (PCC) and Southampton City Council (SCC) to procure Wayfinding Equipment, including Replacement Parts. Other Contracting Authorities, Basingstoke & Dean Borough Council, East Hants District Council, Eastleigh Borough Council, Fareham Borough Council, Gosport Borough Council, Hart District Council, Havant Borough Council, New Forest District Council, Rushmoor Borough Council, Test Valley Borough Council and Winchester City Council will also be able to access the Framework Agreement to procure Wayfinding Equipment and Replacement Parts within the administrative area of Hampshire County Council. The Specification details the infrastructure, services and minor civil works to be provided in accordance with the Framework Agreement for the manufacture, supply and installation of the Wayfinding Equipment. The Replacement Parts sections of the Specification detail the requirements for any Orders for new sign Parts resulting from damage by third parties or due to sign information updates. Following installation of an Order and takeover of Wayfinding Equipment by the Contracting Authority, the Framework Agreement makes provision for a warranty period for quality, materials and workmanship to be determined by the winning supplier’s tender response. Repairs during the warrantee period resulting from inadequate manufacture, workmanship or installation shall be undertaken at no cost to the Contracting Authorities. The locations of the Wayfinding Equipment will be detailed in Orders issued by the Contracting Authorities. The Framework Agreement terms and conditions shall apply to each and every Order issued.
